Roby Services Is Considered an Essential Business
For most of us, the world feels upside down right now. In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, Americans have had to ask tough questions we’ve never even though about before: “How much supplies will I need for the next few weeks? Will I be able to find what I need at the grocery store? Should I wear a mask when I go out in public? How do I protect myself and my family? And when will things go back to normal again?”
Fortunately, there’s one question you’ll never have to ask: “Is Roby Services open for business?”
Roby Services is considered an essential business, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is because our company is part of what the White House has deemed the “essential critical infrastructure workforce.” This workforce includes fields like law enforcement, healthcare, and public works professionals who are necessary for public health and sanitation.
The official decision was released by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency in conjunction with their oversight agency, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. In a memo released by the CISA, “Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences” are explicitly included as part of America’s public works sector.
As our country pulls together to try and navigate this national crisis, it’s good to know that you can still receive the essential services you need. Here at Roby Services, our experienced plumbers and electricians are proud to be open for business. We also offer expert heating and cooling service. Our chief priority, both in these chaotic times and in periods of stability, is the health and well-being of our customers. That’s why we have instituted updated safety measures to protect our community and our employees.
Remember, if we continue to practice social distancing and follow the advice of the CDC, we will not only get through this, we will emerge stronger and better than ever.
